No president has ever died under the same flag they were born under. Only within the last 60 years has the number of states settled down. President #43 was born under a flag of only 48 stars, whereas president #44 is the first to be born under a flag of 50 stars. I think plenty of people assume 50 has been around forever, yet in popular movies you can still spot flags with only 48. 03/19/2010 08:01
